Bilaspur Paragliding Fiesta 2025

The Bilaspur Paragliding Fiesta 2025 will take place from March 23rd to March 27th in the beautiful town of Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh. This exciting event is being organized by the Himachal Pradesh Government and Himachal Tourism, with technical support provided by FCB and the Bilaspur Team. The fiesta aims to promote adventure sports and tourism in the region, offering a thrilling experience for both participants and spectators. Paragliding enthusiasts and professionals from around the world are expected to attend, making it a global celebration of this adventurous sport. As the event gets closer, excitement is building for this unique opportunity to enjoy paragliding while admiring the stunning landscapes of Himachal Pradesh from above.

About Bandla Hills

Bandla Hills in Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh, is a renowned site for paragliding, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape and the Govind Sagar reservoir. Located about 17 kilometers from Bilaspur, the hilltop provides a panoramic view of the entire town. The paragliding experience here is unique, with landing sites situated on the banks of the Govind Sagar Lake, which offers vast and safe areas for landing. Bandla Hills is considered one of the best paragliding spots in the region, with the potential to become one of the highest sites globally after Turkey. The scenic drive to Bandla Hills, though challenging, is rewarding with its picturesque views and dramatic rocky outcrops. The site’s suitability for paragliding has been confirmed through trial flights, making it an exciting destination for adventure enthusiasts

Paragliding Event Daily Schedule

Day 01: Sunday, 23 March 2025
1:00 PM: Pilots re-registration and equipment check at HQ.

Flag-off Ceremony: By Hon’ble Chief Minister Sh. Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu.

Day 02: Monday, 24 March 2025
7:30 AM – 10:00 AM: Pilots re-registration and equipment check at HQ.

10:00 AM: General briefing and transport to the take-off site.

11:00 AM – 1:00 PM: Opening ceremony with Pooja Programme.

1:00 PM: Practice day begins.

7:00 PM: Mandatory briefing for all pilots at HQ.

Day 03: Tuesday, 25 March 2025
8:00 AM: Transportation to the take-off site.

9:00 AM: Pilot briefing at the take-off site.

Competition Starts.

Day 04: Thursday, 27 March 2025
8:00 AM: Transportation to the take-off site.

9:00 AM: Pilot briefing at the take-off site.

Competition Continues.

4:00 PM: Awards and closing ceremony.
