Day 01 – Welcome to Delhi | Elevation: 300M
Kahlur Adventures welcomes you to India, the land of ancient history and rich culture. You will land in New Delhi, the capital of India. You will be received by Kahlur Adventures’ representative who will accompany you on your entire journey. You will be taken to a hotel booked in advance. You will have your dinner in the hotel and stay here for the night.

Day 02 – Visit IMF and Delhi to Manali | Drive 570 KM | Duration 10 – 11 hrs Elevation: 2050 M
After having your breakfast, you will head to IMF (Indian Mountaineering Foundation) with Kahlur Adventures’ representative for a briefing and formalities of the expedition. All work will be done by noon and after that, you will be accompanied by a Kahlur Adventures representative to catch a pre-booked Volvo bus for Manali. It is a long and picturesque ride and you will reach there early morning. On reaching Manali, you will check in to an h0tel.

Day 03 – A Day in Manali
Manali is a town right in the lap of the mountains of India and is one of the most popular tourist destinations. On your 3rd day, you will get to visit the local markets of Manali and all other famous tourist attractions. There will be a fully guided tour by Kahlur Adventures, so you can enjoy your day in Manali. You will also get a briefing on the plan of action for the expedition.

Day 04- Manali to Kaza | Drive 183 KM | Duration 8 – 9 hrs | Elevation: 3650 M
In the morning, after a delicious breakfast, check out of the hotel. You will start on the drive from Manali to Kaza via the famous Atal Tunnel, We will also cross the highest pass of the route Kunzum Pass 4551 M, The journey will be a fully off-road experience, enjoy the view of the famous mountains like Shikhar bey, Mount CB 13, etc. using the This entire drive will take around 9 to 10 hours, and the striking landscapes of Himachal will keep you entertained on the journey. Overnight stay in Kaza.

Day 05- Acclimatization Day
Full day rest at Kaza, Meanwhile our team will do the documentation work with local administration and evening arrange the loads for porter/Mules

Day 06- Kaza to Mane Village | Drive duration 2 – hrs | Elevation: 3600 M
Morning after breakfast drive to Mane village The distinctive Spitian architecture and rugged beauty of the Himalayas will surely leave a lasting impression on you. Mane Village is at an altitude of 3600 M. Overnight stay in Mane Village is arranged by Kahlur Adventures in a homestay or campsite.

Day 07- Trek to Immediate Camp | Trek duration 7 -8 hrs | Elevation: 4700 M
We set off in the morning from Mane Village to the Intermediate Camp towards Manirang Peak starting early, around 5-6 AM. The trail initially follows a gradual ascent through rocky terrain and barren landscapes typical of the Spiti Valley. You’ll cross the initial ridge reach Sopona Lake and pass through pass through the dry lake bed. The climb becomes steeper after a few hours, demanding careful footwork on loose scree and gravel. You’ll enjoy stunning views of surrounding peaks along the way. You reach the Intermediate Camp at around 4,700 meters by midday. The camp offers a panoramic view of Manirang Peak, surrounded by rugged mountains and expansive glaciers. After setting up camp, you can take time to acclimate, rest, and prepare for the higher altitudes ahead. The day’s trek typically lasts 7-8 hours, covering about 10-11 kilometers with a significant altitude gain.

Day 08- Immediate Camp to Base Camp | Trek duration 5 -6 hrs | Elevation: 5100 M
Moring after breakfast pack your bags and start trekking to The Basecamp of Manirang peak. The trek from Intermediate Camp to Base Camp (around 5,100 meters) towards Manirang Peak is a challenging but rewarding day. You’ll begin early, around 10 AM, as the trail involves a steady, steep ascent. The terrain becomes more rugged, with sections of loose scree and patches of snow depending on the season. As you climb higher, the air thins and each step requires more effort. The landscape becomes more dramatic, with sweeping views of snow-capped peaks and glaciers surrounding you. After about 5-6 hours of trekking, you reach Base Camp, located on a rocky plateau.

Day 10- Load ferry to camp 01 and back to basecamp
Morning the guest team and guide team will trek towards camp 01 for the load ferry of the equipment, Pack lunch will provided to all the team members on this day, and later in the evening back to the basecamp for overnight stay.

Day 12- Basecamp to Camp 01 | Trek duration 3 -4 hrs | Elevation: 5450 M
The trek from Base Camp (5,100 meters) to Camp 1 (around 5,450 meters) towards Manirang Peak is a shorter but more strenuous day. we will start early, around 8 AM. The route involves steep ascents over rocky ridges, followed by steep snowfields and occasional ice patches. The high altitude makes the climb more challenging, and you may need to put on your snow boots and gaiters. After 2 hours of steady climbing, you’ll reach Camp 1, located on a narrow ridge or snow plateau. The camp offers breathtaking views of the surrounding glaciers and the summit ridge of Manirang. This camp is crucial for acclimatization and preparing for the summit camp (c2). The day’s trek covers about 3-4 kilometres with an elevation gain of around 350 meters, making it a physically demanding but rewarding day.

Day 13- Route opening to Camp 02
Morning the guest team and guide team will climb towards camp 02 for the route opening and later in the evening come back to camp 01.

Day 14- Shift to Camp 02 | Elevation: 5730 M
The trek from Camp 1 (5,450 meters) to Camp 2, (around 5,700 meters), is a steep and technical day, requiring careful navigation through the rock and scree section. Starting around 10 AM, you’ll ascend a challenging route with mixed terrain, including rocky sections and loose scree areas. The trek takes about 3 hours, with increasing exposure to high winds and thinner air as you approach Camp 2. This camp is perched on a rocky or narrow ridge, offering spectacular views of the summit route and surrounding Himalayan peaks. Once you reach the summit camp, the focus is on setting up tents, resting, and preparing for the summit push early the next day. The day’s altitude gains approximately 250 meters, making it a tough yet exhilarating step toward the summit of Manirang Peak. Day 15- Shift to Camp 03 (Summit Camp) | Elevation: The Maximum height we can cover
This morning, after breakfast, we began our ascent towards the summit camp. Most of the team directly climbed Manirang from Camp 2, but this also depended on the weather conditions and the speed of the climbing team. After Camp 2, we established the summit camp in a location that appeared safe for all members.

Day 16- Summit Mount Manirang 6543 M and Back to Camp 01 or Camp 02
The most important day of the Manirang Peak expedition will start with early morning climbing over rock and ice slopes on the previously fixed ropes. We will keep ascending over the snow slopes and reach the most testing part of the trek. The unpredictable weather conditions make this trek even more difficult but scaling Mount Manirang at a glorious elevation of 6,593 M is a feeling like none other. The final stretch to the summit involves negotiating a narrow steep ridge, where focus and precision are crucial. You will reach the top to get a bird’s eye view of the mountains like Reo & Leo Pargail, Mount Gang Chua, Mt Ibex, Granite Peak, and many more above 6000 M Mountains covered under a thick blanket of shimmering white snow. Spend some time at the summit taking in the exuberant adventure of your life from the top of Mount Manirang. After a while, start descending towards Camp 01 or Camp 02.

This afternoon, we will return to base camp to celebrate the safety and success of the expedition with all team members. This evening, we will clean the entire base camp in preparation for our early morning departure towards Mane village.

The trek from the Base Camp to Mane Village will start after breakfast in the morning. Stay for the night at the Mane Village.
