Mount Everest is the tallest mountain on planet earth standing tall at an elevation of 8849 meters. In Tibetan, it is called Chomolungma, which means “Mother Goddess of the World” and rightfully so. The sheer magnificence of Mount Everest is an epitome of mother nature in her full glory. It is a dream of millions of mountaineers to climb the magnificent Mount Everest but only a few dares to attempt this rather strenuous task. The daunting size of Mt Everest can be really intimidating. But with the team of Kahlur Adventures trained and seasoned trek leaders, you can make your dream come true. We organize the Mount Everest expedition from Nepal and you are welcome to attempt this glorious escapade and write your name in the pages of time. Together we will ensure that you get to have an amazing experience on this expedition and return safely to your loved ones.

Scaled back in 1953 by Sir Edmund Hilary and Tenzing Norgay for the first time, now the summit of Mount Everest has become a dream of every serious mountaineer. Mount Everest is the tallest of the seven summits of the World and requires extraordinary mountaineering skills to complete this expedition. In addition to these success stories, you also get to hear some tragic tales that have occurred on these peaks that are sure to humble you. There is such a story of green boots, a name given to a climber’s unidentified body that has become a landmark on the northern ridge route of Mount Everest and is a constant reminder that how small we as human beings are in the larger scheme of things and environment. It is also been a reflection of the power of the human spirit to achieve something momentous over the past 20 years.

Everest Expedition is a thrilling and challenging trek as you will be climbing above 8000 M with steep trails and extremely cold weather conditions as you will be aiming to reach the highest point on Earth. You need to be mindful of the fact that this expedition will test your resilience and force you to push your physical and mental boundaries like never before. Mt Everest is the highest peak in the world and some prior experience in high-altitude mountaineering with harsh weather will prove helpful before you attempt your luck on these peaks. Climb Mount Everest from the southern route is done from Nepal’s side of this gigantic mountain peak. Don’t let your excitement overshadow the fact that the Mt Everest expedition can be really dangerous with a shortage of oxygen and icy cold temperature. Usually, the best time to climb Everest is in the month of May, and is preferred by most climbers for the ascent.

You will be accompanied on your expedition by Kahlur Adventures’ trek leader, porters, and a team of fellow trekkers along with a skilled Sherpa for the Mt Everest Expedition. The Sherpas are crucial for this trek as they are exceptionally mountaineering experienced and knowledgeable of the entire route. Being an ethnic group who have to spend all their lives in the mountains, Sherpa proves to be a great asset on the expedition to Mount Everest. You need to be well prepared for this expedition to survive in such harsh conditions and height. It is advised to have proper physical training dedicated to high-altitude climbing and summit Indian mountains that are above 7000 M such as Mount Nun, Mount Kun, Mount Satopanth, and Mount Nanda Devi East.

The expedition to Mt Everest gives you ample opportunity to witness some of nature’s most beautiful sites. Your journey is a series of various landscapes. You will come across lush green forests, wide farmlands, serene meadows, gorgeous trails, and ridges all covered by glittering white snow. On your way to the highest peak on the planet, you will get some awe-inspiring views of Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Makalu, and nearby Himalayan Mountain ranges. You will cross many suspension bridges, visit Buddhist Monasteries and even get a chance to interact with people of the friendly Sherpa community and get a closer look at their culture. On your journey, you will be doing a great cause for the local communities by supporting their business and contributing to their economic growth. This expedition will provide you with the possibility to get aquatinted with mountaineers from all over the world.

Climbing Mount Everest requires a lot more than physical training and the spirit to accomplish something great. You need a team of professionals who will have your back on the expedition to Mt Everest and you need to carry some essentials on your way up. You will need a list of equipment such as climbing gear, including crampons, an ice axe, and a belay; technical clothing including a down coat, base layers, and trekking pants; and camp equipment, including a sleeping bag, a tent, and a thermos.
