Our Successful Mount Leo Purgyil Summit on 28 August 2025

On 28 August 2025 at 6:40 AM, our team reached an altitude of 6,773 meters during the Leo Pargial – II (6,792m) expedition. The gap of 25m came as we didn’t go till the top of the peak, respecting the mountains—Mr. Bhuvneshwer Singh took the decision not to go above. We also respect the decision of the Indian Mountaineering Foundation to not give us the summit certificate; based on the report, summit photos, videos they only certified that we successfully reached an altitude of 6,773 meters during Leo Pargial – II (6,792m).

We’re happy we all came back safely. “Not every mountain is for summit; for us it’s not a failed summit—it’s actually a grand summit for us that is above Everest for us,” words by Mr. Bhuvneshwer Singh (Expedition Team Leader).
