Equipment required for Nun Peak India:

Mount Nun is a technical peak and you will need to use mountaineering equipment on this trek. You will be using equipment like an ice axe, crampons, pulley, rope, etc. Former knowledge of technical climbing will come in handy for sure. You will be trained by Kahlur Adventures’ trek leader on the expedition to use this equipment. You will also get practice sessions, usually on the days reserved for acclimatization as you set up your camp at a high elevation. Permit for Mount Nun:
Apart from the nature of this highly demanding expedition, you need a comprehensive knowledge of all the required documents. When you are planning to climb Mount Nun or any other above 6000 M mountains in the Indian Himalayas, you will need permission from the Indian Mountaineering Foundation. Another requirement by IMF is that you need to have completed a basic mountaineering course and an advanced mountaineering course from recognized institutes before heading on the expedition to Mount Nun. International climbers need to pre-book their expedition with IMF and upon reaching India, need to visit the IMF head office in Delhi for a briefing with the IMF director and Liasion officer. After the expedition, they need to revisit IMF for a debriefing.
Documentation required for Mount Nun 7135M India:
You will be required to carry your passport copy, visa copy, 3 passport size photographs, self-declaration, and insurance copy. You will need to pay a peak booking fee as well. All the documents must be submitted in advance while peak booking. You will need to show the original documents once you reach IMF for a briefing.
