02) Mount Kun 7077 M Ladakh (Ut) India:

The Nun Kun mountain massif is a pair of Himalayan peaks: Nun, 7,135 m (23,409 ft) and its neighbour peak Kun Peak, 7,077 m (23,218 ft). Mount Kun 7077M is one of the highest peaks of Suru valley Kargil/ Ladakh (UT) India, which is located in the Zanskar range of the Himalayas. Mt. Kun is located north of Nun and is separated from it by a snowy plateau around 5-6 km. NunKun Massif Mountain is considered a part of the greater Himalayan Range Zanskar. Mount Kun and Mt Nun are just a few miles apart, although they have entirely different routes to climb. Permit for Mount Nun:

Apart from the nature of this highly demanding expedition, you need a comprehensive knowledge of all the required documents. When you are planning to climb Mount Nun or any other above 6000 M mountains in the Indian Himalayas, you will need permission from the Indian Mountaineering Foundation. Another requirement by IMF is that you need to have completed a basic mountaineering course and an advanced mountaineering course from recognized institutes before heading on the expedition to Mount Nun. International climbers need to pre-book their expedition with IMF and upon reaching India, need to visit the IMF head office in Delhi for a briefing with the IMF director and Liasion officer. After the expedition, they need to revisit IMF for a debriefing.

Documentation required for Mount Nun 7135M India:

You will be required to carry your passport copy, visa copy, 3 passport size photographs, self-declaration, and insurance copy. You will need to pay a peak booking fee as well. All the documents must be submitted in advance while peak booking. You will need to show the original documents once you reach IMF for a briefing. 01) Mount Kangchenjunga 8589M

Kangchenjunga is also called Kinchinjunga and in Nepali, Kumbhkaran Lungur is the 3rd highest peak in the world, an elevation of 28,169 feet. It is situated in Eastern Himalayas between India and Nepal. From old times, Mount Kangchenjunga has been admired by the people of Sikkim and Darjeeling. If someone climbs it then it will be considered disrespectful to the religious beliefs of people of these states. Joe Brown and George Band two English mountain climbers became the first climber who climbs it in 1955. There are many protected areas including the Kangchenjunga Conservation Area in Nepal, many protected areas including the Kangchenjunga Conservation Area in Nepal, Khangchendzonga National Park, Pangolakha Wildlife Sanctuary in Sikkim, Singalila National Park, and Neora Valley National Park in Darjeeling, etc have been established to protect and conserve the unique Kangchenjunga ecosystem.

02) Mount Nanda Devi – 7,816m

Mount Nanda Devi is situated in the Chamoli Garhwal in Uttarakhand and is also known as the 23rd highest mountain in the world. This mountain is the source of several rivers and streams including the Rishiganga, Pindar, and Dhauliganga rivers. Noel Odell and Bill Tilman two British mountaineers became the first climbers to climb Mount Nanda Devi, in 1936. 03) Mount Kamet – 7,756m

After Nanda Devi, Mount Kamet is the second-highest mountain peak that is located in the Garhwal Himalayas in the Chamoli District in Uttarakhand. This mountain peak is surrounded by three other major neigh boring peaks and is located close to the Tibetan plateau. English mountaineers Frank Smythe, Eric Shipton, R. L. Holdsworth, and Lewa Sherpa became the first climbers to climb Mount Kamet in 1931.

04) Saltoro Kangri/K10 – 7,742m

Mount Saltoro Kangri is the fourth highest mountain peak in India and the world’s 31st highest mountain. It is the highest peak of the Saltoro Mountain range, a sub-range of the Karakoram Mountains. Japanese mountaineers Y. Takamura and A. Saito and the Pakistani climber R. A. Bashir became the first persons to climb Mount Saltoro Kangri in 1962.

05) Saser Kangri I/K22 – 7,672m

Mount Saser Kangri (I) is the fifth highest mountain peak in India and the world’s 35th highest mountain. It is situated within the Indian Union Territory of Ladakh, Mount Saser Kangri I is the highest peak of the Saser Muztagh, which is the easternmost subrange of the Karakoram mountains.

06) Mamostong Kangri/K35 – 7,516m

Mount Mamostong Kangri is the sixth highest mountain peak in India and the world’s 48th highest mountain. It is situated in the Indian Union Territory of Ladakh close to the Indo-China border, Mount Mamostong Kangri is the highest peak of the remote Rimo Muztagh, a subrange of the Karakoram mountains.

07) Saser Kangri II E – 7,513m

Mount Saser Kangri II E is the seventh highest mountain peak in India and the world’s 49th highest mountain. It is situated within the Indian Union Territory of Ladakh, Mount Saser Kangri II E is one of the high peaks of Saser Muztagh.

09) Teram Kangri I – 7,462m

Mount Teram Kangri I is the best top of the Teram Kangri group and of the far-flung Siachen Muztagh which is a subrange of the Karakoram Mountains. The mountain is located at the border between China and the disputed Siachen Glacier region, near the Line of Control among India and Pakistan.
